Environment Agency: Annual Fee Increase and Resubmission Costs

Some of our members maybe have recently received an official email from the Environment Agency regarding Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) resubmissions and updated annual fees. We understand that this has raised some questions, and we would like to provide clarity and reassurance.

What Does This Mean for You?

  1. No Action Required
    As a member of our Comply with Clarity scheme, there is no need for you to take any action in response to this email. The information provided is primarily for your awareness. If any resubmissions are required, we will contact you directly and manage this on your behalf.
  2. Payments Are Managed by Us
    As a member of a compliance scheme you are not required to make any payments directly to the Environment Agency. Any applicable charges, including resubmission or annual fees, are invoiced by us under our official role as your approved compliance scheme.
  3. Environment Agency Annual Fee Increase
    The attached document in the email outlines increases to the annual Environment Agency fees, which will continue to be billed through us. Rest assured, we are fully aware of these changes and will incorporate them into your annual invoice.

Rest assured, no action is required from you. The Environment Agency fees will be adjusted accordingly in your annual billing, and if resubmissions apply to you, we will notify you directly and provide full guidance.
