David Wakelin joined Clarity in January 2026 as a senior member of the software engineering team. In his role, he helps design and deliver scalable digital solutions, supporting the development of reliable systems while contributing to technical direction and engineering best practice.

With a background in software engineering across fast-paced product and scale-up environments, David brings extensive experience in full-stack development, platform modernisation, and building scalable systems. His experience also includes improving engineering processes, shared standards, and testing strategies, helping teams work more effectively and deliver high-quality solutions.

Clarity’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical business practices strongly aligns with David’s own values. Through his work, he helps ensure Clarity’s digital platforms remain reliable, adaptable, and able to evolve alongside the changing needs of members and clients.
