WEEE waste management company, and Recycle with Clarity partner, Intelligent Waste Management (iWaste) has won a years’ worth of business mentoring.
Pitching their current challenges to a panel in a ‘Dragons’ Den’ style event in Hampshire, iWaste impressed the region’s most celebrated and successful entrepreneurs in a series of heats. The company made it to the final where they won a head-to-head pitch and will now receive a year of mentoring from a business coach and additional advice in sales.
Now in its tenth year, Mentor Magic is designed to identify promising entrepreneurs and match them with successful business people in the Hampshire region, who mentor them towards further success.
iWaste’s Director, Sam Prentice said the experience has helped them to plan for their business growth: “We have been put on the spot, quizzed and advised. The end result has really pushed us to drill down into business planning, growth, and people management. We are now working with a member of the panel who has a brilliant skill set and can only add to the overall experience of business ownership. iWaste has scaled from 2 people to 8 in a relatively short space of time, and we are planning to increase to 12 by the end of the year as our waste management service continues to grow”.
