Clarity Cares Celebrates Over £500k Donated to Charitable Causes

At Clarity, our mission has always been simple: to improve lives, protect nature and make the world around us a better place to live. This purpose sits at the heart of Clarity Cares, our charitable initiative, alongside our pledge to donate at least 1% of profits every quarter to charities and awareness campaigns.

Since its inception, Clarity Cares has supported organisations across welfare, disability, health, wildlife and education, with a strong focus on environmental protection. Today, we’re proud to share Clarity has now donated more than £500,000 to charitable causes, supporting meaningful projects locally, nationally and internationally.

To mark this achievement, our employees were invited to nominate charities close to their hearts. Thirteen organisations were selected, and in 2025 we exceeded our planned contributions, demonstrating our core company values.

Hands-on support through Clarity Cares

Financial contributions form only one part of our commitment. Across the business, Clarity staff dedicate time, energy and skills to charitable and community projects throughout the year. Our volunteering culture is embedded in who we are, and 2025 showcased the power of teamwork in action.

Caring for our coastlines

Our staff continued their hands-on support for marine conservation, joining multiple Brighton beach cleans to protect wildlife and reduce plastic pollution along the Sussex coast. As part of our renewed partnership with the Marine Conservation Society, teams helped collect, sort and catalogue waste to support national research and campaigning efforts.

Supporting local food security

Colleagues also delivered essential supplies to the Woodingdean Food Hub, helping ensure vulnerable families have access to fresh food, toiletries and household essentials. This ongoing support reflects our commitment to strengthening communities in our local area.

Growing sustainable spaces

This year saw staff brave nettles, brambles and blisters at the Moulsecoomb Community Allotments, where volunteers dug, raked and cleared a forgotten and unloved area to create a usable community space. These efforts help create safe, welcoming green spaces that support education, wellbeing and biodiversity.

Backing local communities and wellbeing

Our sponsorship of the Shoreham Star Trail brought joy to hundreds of children who took part in a film-themed treasure hunt while raising over £8,000 for local charities. Meanwhile, our continued sponsorship of a highly trained Veterans With Dogs assistance dog has helped transform the life of a military veteran living with PTSD – highlighting the lasting impact of long-term partnerships.

Together, these activities reflect the spirit of Clarity Cares: a commitment that goes beyond donations to meaningful, practical action led by our people.

What Clarity Cares Donations Achieved in 2025

Alongside hands-on support, our financial contributions this year enabled impactful work across several vital sectors. As a packaging compliance organisation dedicated to environmental responsibility, our commitment to nature restoration stood out especially strongly in 2025:

  • Restoring nature at home and abroad – Funding for Plantlife, the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, South Downs National Park Trust, Sussex Bay, World Wildlife Fund helped restore threatened habitats and protect biodiversity. This included supporting seagrass and oyster regeneration along the Sussex coast, strengthening wetland and chalk-grassland ecosystems, safeguarding endangered species, and contributing to global conservation projects such as preventing Amazon deforestation.
  • Saving lives in critical situations – Support for the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance helped fund blood supplies, lifesaving equipment and specialist uniforms for emergency responders, enabling critical care in challenging and remote locations.
  • Protecting vulnerable children worldwide – Our contribution to War Child UK supported children affected by conflict in 14 countries, delivering emergency aid, safe spaces, family reunification services, trauma care and access to education.
  • Fostering better mental health – Donations to Mankind, BEAT, MIND and the Children’s Bereavement Centre funded helplines, peer support groups, legal advice, and therapeutic services for children and adults at moments of profound vulnerability.

These initiatives represent just a portion of the organisations we’ve been privileged to support this year.

Driven by our people, powered by our community

None of this progress would be possible without the dedication of our employees or the continued trust of our customers and suppliers. Your partnership directly powers these initiatives, helping us extend our impact far beyond environmental compliance, into the heart of the communities and ecosystems we care about.

Recognising a landmark year for Clarity Cares, Natalie Rea, CEO at Clarity Environmental, reflected on the milestone:

“When our Chairman, David Honcoop founded Clarity Environmental, he set out to build a business rooted in a core commitment to make a difference to both people and to our planet. With this purpose in mind, our Chairman made the decision to launch Clarity Cares, ensuring that every step of progress we make as a business also delivers positive impact for communities and charitable causes.

Over the years, our Chairman has shared its success with a wide range of charities, demonstrating leadership with purpose and delivering measurable positive change. Passing the £500,000 milestone this year is a remarkable achievement, but what makes us most proud is the way our people bring Clarity Cares to life. Our staff don’t just raise funds – they roll up their sleeves, support local communities, protect our coastlines and build long-term relationships with the charities we partner with.

Clarity Cares reflects the values we stand for as a business and our mission to make a meaningful difference. We would like to express our thanks to every colleague, customer and supplier who has contributed to this shared impact.”
